bendi-BANGKOK is a contemporary Thai furniture brand that establishes its identity through steam-bending techniques with hardwoods. This process is still uncommon in Thailand and highly challenging in both design and production. We are committed to creating furniture with elegant curves, strength, and material efficiency, minimizing waste without compromising beauty. Sustainability is at the core of our practice: we use both legally imported hardwoods, responsibly sourced in accordance with international standards, and rubberwood from domestic plantations, adding value and offering sustainable alternatives. Each piece by bendi-BANGKOK embodies both international-level quality and design stories that reflect contemporary lifestyles. Chudy — Minimal Form, Maximum Challenge Chudy begins with the challenge of bending hardwood into the smallest possible curve, resulting in a stool that is minimal, compact, and space-saving. With its slim, lightweight structure, Chudy is easy to move around and perfectly suited for urban living, where furniture must be efficient yet still embody the value of true woodcraft. Damo — Contemporary Flexibility Damo stands out with a seamless curved veneer frame that softly embraces the body. It is complemented by modern steel legs for durability, with optional wooden legs for warmth or casters for workspaces. Damo represents flexibility and balance between artistic elegance and practical usability. miko — Elegance in Serenity Inspired by the Japanese word 巫女 (miko)—a shrine maiden—this design conveys serenity, simplicity, and elegance through its soft, rounded wooden frame with no sharp corners. The backrest and armrests are shaped to harmonize with the body. Its highlight lies in the single-piece hardwood steam bending, crafted without joints or multiple parts. miko reflects both the refinement of woodcraft and the advancement of technical expertise. WENDY Oceanic — Inspired by Nature’s Rhythm This lounge chair draws inspiration from ocean waves and sand patterns, expressed through a CNC-carved curved backrest and custom-printed fabric that evokes the movement of water. WENDY Oceanic invites users to experience calmness, relaxation, and a connection with nature, whether at home or in public spaces.
