Designer’s Statement Crystal Design Center (CDC) is the largest design destination in Southeast Asia, bringing together premium furniture brands, design materials, and world-class lifestyle experiences. Established in 2009 and officially opened in 2010, CDC spans over 76 rai along the Ekamai–Ramintra expressway, and was envisioned as Thailand’s first complete Design Ecosystem. Every breath taken in polluted air silently reduces our lifespan. While people invest in supplements, wellness programs, and health innovations to extend their lives, the most essential factor is often overlooked: the air we breathe. Global research confirms that access to clean air directly increases life expectancy. This year at Bangkok Design Week, CDC positions itself as a living model of change — a space where visitors are not only informed, but deeply feel the value of clean air. Because every dust-free breath is a moment added back to life. Program Highlight LUNGSPHERE: LONGEVITY IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE An indoor immersive VR dome experience that surrounds visitors with 360-degree visuals and sound, guiding them through a journey from pollution to purity, from heaviness to healing. Inside the dome, guests visually interact with an atmosphere that transforms from toxic to tranquil. The experience is completed with sound healing compositions that soothe the mind and cleanse the senses. Each session lasts approximately 15 minutes — an intentional pause for reflection and reconnection. LUNGSPHERE is not merely an installation. It is a moment of awareness. A reminder that longevity begins with something as simple as breath.
