Community Architecture by ArchSU

When Flowers Tell

This installation presents a small-scale exhibition and landmark that introduces visitors to the stories and symbolic meanings of flowers through resin-coated blooms, each preserved with their natural beauty intact. The work brings a sense of vibrancy to the walkway, creating an experience of transition between Pak Khlong and Song Wat, while also promoting the preservation and appreciation of floral beauty through artistic expression. Each resin piece includes the flower’s name and a short, evocative phrase that conveys its deeper meaning—almost as if the flower itself is whispering a message to passers-by. At the same time, the installation has the potential to support and enhance local flower vendors’ sales in the Pak Khlong Talad area. This project is an experimental design from the Community Architecture course by second-year students from the Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University. These projects explore new possibilities for developing the creative economy in the Pak Khlong Talat area.
