‘Why – Where – How’ – meet 4 latest Bangkok’s creative districts

Ari-Pradipat

Once a mass transit railway; BTS, linked up the area, the accessibility of Ari-Pradipat has drawn changes and challenges to how the district is used. High-rise residence, hostels and café for the new-gen travellers, and also the hub of creative minds are among the changes for better. This shift allows new business opportunities and a fairer standard of urban life quality to flourish in the district.

The observation of Ari-Pradipat; one of Bangkok Design Week 2020 showcase venues, reveals solutions to the problems when local community joined hands with visitors unfolding their thoughts.

Thonglor – Ekkamai

Being stamped as a “prime location of Bangkok”, Thonglor – Ekkamai embraces all-kind of lifestyle complex and it is truly a spot to invest in an upper-scale property, lifestyle shops, community malls, and leading creative studios of the national standards.

Now it’s time to explore the new perspectives of this area developed by the co-creation among creative industry clusters sharing excellent business models. Thonglor – Ekkamai remains Bangkok’s gems box, and never-ending driving force to the Thai creative economy.

Charoenkrung – Talad Noi

The very first prototype area of Bangkok “creative district” becomes the heart of harmonization blending the true identity and origin of the waterfront culture with diverse nationalities, beliefs, and an adaptive space. The collaboration between the government sector and corporate organisations also play an important role in developing the areas both on its physical aspect as well as the capability of the area to drive Charoenkrung to become a true Creative District.

Join us to witness the work that was built through the development of the local entrepreneurs’ skills showing another step forward of the district with plenty of showcases from participating local entrepreneurs, the great promoters for the leaping growth of this area!

Samyan – Rama 4

This old Chinese community is the heart of restaurants, blacksmiths, automotive industry and a home to higher education institute. It is now implementing local lifestyles, tradition and creative mindset to develop this area.

Enjoy exploring the reinventing of learning spaces and creative showcases in Samyan – Rama 4 district. It is a result of successful collaboration among educational institutes, private sector-entrepreneurs, and young creative talents. Participated areas used as a pilot project for local community development have become the playground for designers to pitch ideas and work together before delivering any practical execution in the future.
