SAWASDEE EVERYDAY is a collection of PILYNN’s Thai silk bags in three models: Kratip Original, Katar Takra, and Bodhi. They have been developed and created in 7 new colours according to the colour-of-the-day culture in Thailand, plus Black and Beige for special occasions. They wish to become a proud and practical Thai product in everyday lifestyle. The primary inspiration comes from the well-known phrase “SAWASDEE WAN CHAN” (Hello, Monday), an online greeting with colourful natural photos that most Thais receive daily via their family group chat. Another important inspiration is the designer’s grandfather, a 98-year-old, who wears colour-of-the-day clothing to remember small details in everyday life.
