In 2024, Bangkok Design Week with the theme "Livable Scape: People Make Cities Better" has been envisioned by the 49&FRIENDS group to promote happiness and freshness in the Phrom Phong area. They aim to achieve this through the creative contributions of the local community, fostering a sense of togetherness and sustainable collaboration among both humans and other living beings. Drawing from the 40 years of experience, the architects of the 49GROUP have organized an exhibition, "40th Anniversary 49GROUP," Which A49HD joining with our recent three private house projects. All of these Three houses are designed for the extended family which has people in multi-generation living together. Such family character is just like a smaller version of the community and also a unique character of Thai society. "Livable Scape: People Make Cities Better" might begin with a family, the smallest unit of society. Our design presents Thai family living environment through adaptive design shaped by the changing society, urban space, architectural design, new materials and construction technologies.
