Thailand's ocean is the 6th most polluted in the world. It takes over 50,000 tons of plastic waste per year. This is more than 750 million pieces of water pollution. Abandoned plastic fishing nets make up 46% of ocean plastic. This is a significant part of the problem. Every year hundreds of thousands of marine animals such as sea turtles, seals, dolphins and whales are harmed by abandoned fishing nets. We uses used fishing nets as the main material in design and manufacture of RETRIEVE COLLECTION, which is like retrieve both fishing nets and marine animals. We hope that we will play a part to help reduce the amount of plastic trash in the ocean and the harm it causes to marine animals and we hope to communicate with people to raise awareness of the dangers of the ocean plastic crisis.
