When food is not just food, but also reflects lifestyle design, socio-political design, and is politics in itself, "Politics of Food" is an open-talk activity that stimulates thought and interaction with people inside and outside of South Sukhumvit. This thought-provoking event led by Prof. Thanes Wongyannava, a leading political science scholar, and Anusorn Tipayanon, a writer and food activist. Together, they will unpack the complexities of food sustainability and the potential for food-based communities. In addition, you can take part in a hands-on workshop on creating your own edible garden. Guided by Chokchai Larbnongsaeng, a former radiologist turned community developer, this session offers practical insights into urban farming. Chokchai brings his experience from managing the Jai Talad project and various Urban Farming initiatives in Bangkok to inspire us.
