Blooming Flower

Interactive Light Installation: Blooming Flower is an Interactive light Installation based on the origami flower technique combined with lighting to communicate with the user and the artwork. With the location, as Pak Klong Talat is well known for its flower market and has flowers as an identity, the origami technique will represent the originality of the space itself. Light is a source of medium to connect and interact with the user and context. The color of the light is inspired by the variety of colors from roses. With the reflected paper as a material, the space will be brighter when the light dominates the space while the color of roses will change at the moment of light transition as well. Moreover, the brightness of the light could translate and express the definition of space and light up the area while creating a safe and sound throughout friendly, and delightful atmosphere in the darkness.
