Vanich House is a shop renovated from the space under a hundred-year-old Thai family house. It offers a place where guests can relax, socialize, enjoy snacks, and organize various activities in a casual and friendly setting. The space under the house includes a café serving homemade snacks and drinks, a shop featuring our favorite items and familiar brands, and a multi-purpose area for various activities or workshops. These spaces are arranged loosely and can be adjusted as needed, using the family's original wooden furniture. Inside the house, there is also a residential area, an architect's office, and a one-room hotel, all renovated from the original wooden house and lathe shop. The renovations use original materials to adapt the spaces for new uses while preserving traces of time, the structure's form, and the space's ambiance. During Bangkok Design Week 2025, Vanich House has collaborated with Weekend Garden BKK, a group of designers who create green spaces that add freshness to the city. Together, they have decorated Vanich House as an indoor garden, featuring art exhibitions, workshops, and shops to create an immersive experience for all participants.
