LOOK UP

Space and Body Revealed Through Unique Japanese Words When did we become beings unable to live without our mobile phones? In an era dominated by technology, we often experience life through screens, with our daily decisions being influenced by the information we receive from the online world. Our posture, which worsens each time we look at a screen, reflects our mental condition. In this talk, we will think together as designers to explore approaches for living positively in the future, amidst the stress caused by advancing technology. Our proposal is to investigate what designers can create in two fields: space and graphics, drawing inspiration from unique Japanese words that reflect the distinct sensibilities of the Japanese people. Let’s put the phones down and... “LOOK UP”!
