Join a 2-hour panel discussion, “Shedding Light on Global Challenges: Regional Perspectives on Lighting Design,” featuring three renowned international lighting designers and a moderator. Lighting design is a powerful tool to address social, environmental, and economic challenges. This panel brings together three lighting designers from different countries to share diverse perspectives on how light can help us tackle domestic, global, and sustainable challenges. S – Secure Domestic: Strengthening local identity O – Outreach Opportunities: Expanding global collaboration S – Sustainable Future: Delivering living-centered, environmentally responsible solutions The moderator introduces the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Certified Lighting Designer (CLD) credential to frame regional expertise. Each speaker presents projects reflecting one of the S/O/S pillars, followed by an interactive discussion and audience Q&A. Participants will leave inspired, with practical strategies, global insights, and actionable ideas to transform creativity into meaningful impact through lighting design.
