Adam - CYCLE OF PASSION

Adam is not merely a furniture designer and manufacturer of made-to-order pieces. We are a collective of designers and creative thinkers, united by a drive to create change in many forms. By merging novel ideas, innovative materials, and expert craftsmanship, we strive to deliver experiences and value that transcend furniture—designs with meaning that resonate with people and real spaces. (re)CYCLE OF PASSION — Furniture born from the final breath of fabric (re)CYCLE OF PASSION tells the story of the cycle of passion behind design. Every piece of furniture comes at a cost: offcuts, leftover fabrics, and fragments from production, cutting, and experimentation. These remnants—unseen results of effort, trial, and deep passion—are materials that usually disappear from view. This furniture collection captures the final breath of these materials and preserves it in a new form—not to conceal, but to reveal the traces, processes, and time embedded in every design. Our design philosophy is as follows: Waste as Memory Fabric waste is not discarded but preserved—its production memories encapsulated and suspended in transparent resin, like a time capsule. Material Transparency The clarity of resin exposes the truth of the material. Nothing is hidden; raw fibers, imperfections, and accidental beauty are intentionally revealed. Sustainability Through Re-Creation Rather than creating new materials, we extend the life of existing ones—transforming waste into durable furniture intended to last for decades. Craft + Experimentation Casting fabric with resin demands extensive experimentation—viscosity, ratios, temperature, and fiber placement. Each variable reflects the craftsmanship embedded in the work. This project transforms discarded fabric—typically seen as worthless—into a powerful new material. By fusing waste with resin, we create a transparent surface that intentionally reveals fibers, traces, and imperfections—embracing them as part of the design. Reimagining the value of discarded materials and translating them into functional design is an act of revival. Through interpretation, creativity, and meticulous process, overlooked waste is given new life. What was once discarded becomes a resource—capable of delivering function, beauty, and lasting value in a sustainable way.
