Central Park

Central Park Design for Bangkok

Dusit Central Park is a landmark mixed-use development born from the collaboration of two of Thailand’s leading organizations, together with a global network of renowned designers and studios across multiple disciplines, including architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture. Inspired by the rhythm of life in the Silom district, the serenity of Lumphini Park, and the legacy of the iconic Dusit Thani Hotel, the project translates these influences into a holistic design experience that engages all the senses—sight, taste, scent, sound, and touch—setting a new benchmark for mixed-use developments that evolve in harmony with the changing city. As part of Central Park Design for Bangkok, visitors are invited to explore a series of exhibitions and landmark installations on Level 1, alongside Design Talk sessions on Level 4 at Central Park, throughout the festival period. This special program offers an opportunity to discover how this new landmark envisions its role in shaping the future of Bangkok and moving the city forward. Key Highlights The Landmark: Heritage in Motion (29 Jan – 8 Feb 26) Level 1, Central Park (Skyhall Zone) Experience a striking 7-metre-tall art installation that brings together the core design DNA of Central Park in a single space. The installation features signature elements such as curved columns, zigzag façades, and fountain forms inspired by the heritage of Dusit Thani. The exhibition also showcases works by Infinite Riot, one of the local artists participating in Bangkok Design Week 2026, including a live art creation that allows visitors to witness the artistic process through the artist’s perspective. Exhibition: Exploring the City Through Design (29 Jan – 8 Feb 26) Level 1, Central Park (Skyhall Zone) 1. Build Your Central Park A hands-on block-building activity inspired by Central Park’s distinctive architectural elements—such as geometric forms, zigzag façades, and escalators—inviting participants to explore limitless design possibilities while learning the concepts behind the architecture through play. 2. Central Park Passport A stamp-collecting journey across three iconic locations within the project: Skyhall (Level 1), the entrance walkway to The Roof Park (Level 4), and the escalators on Level 1. Participants uncover the design story of each space, and once all stamps are collected, receive a complete visual piece along with a special souvenir. 3. Breathe the Park A unique sensory experience where visitors can inhale the scents of real flowers and plants from the 7-rai rooftop park, reflecting the project’s intention to design green spaces that bring fresh air and calm to the heart of Bangkok.
