Siam Jazz Collective, The Bangkok-based trio of visionary DJs : Black Monday / Panna / Roit Hunt who share a love of Jazz; improvisation, curiosity, and creativity. They're here to redefine the Jazz experience, cooking up flavorful sets through their unique selections. Beyond the decks, they are a film director, a brand marketing director, and a designer, infusing their sound with a mix of creative energy. Siam Jazz is into the idea of Jazz not as a fixed form but something where small fragments can be sampled, reworked, flipped, and reimagined into something new. You'll catch dusty Jazz samples, Jazzy keys layered with Hip-Hop textures, and warm chords blending into Neo-Soul grooves, along with Jazz bridging Soul Edits, Funky, Boogie, and Nu-Disco forms of Nu Jazz and Jazz Hop. For BKKDW2026, Siam Jazz also has been invited to create an ambient sound experience and present their showcase at the Grand Stair Hall, Grand Postal Building, Charoenkrung Road. "Siam Jazz & Friends" The diversity of contemporary music, where genres blend and overlap, inspires us to invite friends from different backgrounds to share their own perspectives of jazz through their selections, expanding the definition from "what Jazz should be" to "what Jazz can be." Also a perspective shared by one of our friend that jazz in one city can feel entirely different from jazz in another became the phrase “Our Jazz Is Not the Same,” which was later screen-printed onto Siam Jazz’s T-shirts. "Our Jazz Is Not the Same" is now the core concept of the DJ and Talk Sessions at BKKDW2026. For the Talk Session, we intentionally invited speakers who are not DJs or record collectors, but a Menswear Designer and an Chef, to share their perspectives on jazz in their own fields.
