Collector Project @ BKKDW2022’s new exhibition simply called ‘RAW’, a showcase that is a part of a long-term research process in the search for the Charoenkrung district’s essence by analysing the district atmosphere, sense of place, and other elements through the merging visual representation and abstract representation. This showcase aims to use physical components like sound, reflection, and recollection to present the essence of the Charoenkrung district through the combined perspectives of the residents and outside designers. The designer site visits the district and collects raw ingredients scattered around like architectures, histories, cultures, stories, gossip, and secrets creating art installations. Alongside it, design works from Collector Project are presenting the chosen ingredients characteristics contrasts which are like flavouring these raw ingredients to serve the visitors.
