In this workshop, the Circular Design Lab (CDL) team will delve into the basics of systemic design and creative social innovation, and how it can be applied to tackling complex design challenges. The systemic design introduction will be an interactive session, starting with a briefing on the basics of systemic design process before letting participants co-create with each other and try their hands at designing holistic approaches to complex environmental issues. Participants will leave the session armed with a basic systemic design toolkit they can use on their own projects. We will also share our efforts to develop a broad community passionate about circular economy and in using systemic design tools to tackle complex environmental challenges ranging from plastic waste, air pollution, and unsustainable supply chains. The workshop is designed for those who are interested in the systemic design process, and those who are looking for a community of passionate changemakers wanting to tackle sustainability problems in Thailand and beyond.
