Perfumer is a specialised profession that demanded specific training, a lot of financial investment, and talents. Despite having a plethora of talented perfumers in Thailand, many of them lack the financial resources to drive the business forward due to the high cost of advertising budget. A number of perfumers lack sufficient support and space to unleash and demonstrate their talents. Thailand's largest perfumery group, 'Thai Perfumers', decided to hold a ‘Scents of Aesthetics contest' to serve as a central space where the outstanding individuals' potential can be assessed to propel the Thai perfumery industry to the next level. Additionally, Thai and foreign visitors will be able to learn more about the art of scents through the showcase as well.
