People are thus confused and vulnerable, both mentally and physically, and so develop negative attitudes towards themselves and their surroundings.

As the world becomes more chaotic, people grow increasingly stressed and anxious, discouraging them from thinking outside the box. Design becomes even more seen as being decorative and unnecessary for life and society. This, in turn, causes designers to lose their passion.

It is time for the design industry to demonstrate “what design can do” – how it can help people adapt, solve problems, and face these challenges.
