The Design Excellence Award (DEmark) was established in 2008 to recognize outstanding product design. Last year, a total of 66 outstanding designs from 54 companies were awarded the DEmark. The selected products receive the DEmark logo, which can be used to promote well-designed Thai products in the international market. The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) collaborates with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) to determine the judging criteria and bring in experts to be the judges for the DEmark Award. This year, the DEmark 2024 Award Exhibition at Bangkok Design Week is organized to present Thai design works that have received the DEmark 2024 award, to inspire new designers, and to promote and develop entrepreneurs/designers who have received the DEmark award to be known and widely recognized at international design festivals.
