Little Local Beyond Ordinary is a project of community reflection in art, curated by the Office of Art Culture and Creativity and the Art Centre in collaboration with various departments of Silpakorn University. The project-based artist-in-residence program involves discovering a set of “small stories and things” of the place and bringing forward artists to develop creative works that reflect “moving beyond the ordinary.” This aims to disclose the community’s identity, values, memories, and assets. These results are the cornerstone of an up+rising through art and new interpretations, revealing the community’s hidden significant meanings, such as decoding locality, adapting identity, and opening for care.
