apiccha - Live Drawing Photobooth

apiccha brings to Bangkok a fully-functioning live drawing photobooth, inspired by an artist in Toronto, Canada. Arnencha, a student at the University of Toronto, and Mook, a student at Silpakorn University, came together to bring this project to life. Customers will pay 169-189 THB depending on the number of people in their group, choose the style of the photostrip they want, and receive a handmade token to put into our "photobooth." After inserting the token, they can act out multiple poses in front of the mirror screen, and a photostrip will slide down into the drop-off box, just like in a typical photobooth. However, instead of a camera picture, it will be multiple portrait doodles of the customers drawn right then and there by our artist within 5 minutes. The strips look almost identical to photobooth strips, but they will be from artists who pour their heart and soul into every drawing.
