Chaiya Arun 2 (Year 2) is an activity that involves “screening motion pictures,” “sitting in a circle,” and watching and listening “together.” It also includes organizing a “discussion circle” to talk about the process of exploring, searching, interpreting, and “constructing” the works of artists, new-generation creators, and curators. The goal is to “work together” and exchange ideas with academics and local communities to help reflect what is expressed. Power of Design emphasizes that design is not just about beauty, but also about creating positive change through content and issues inspired by historical stories of the area, community, and individuals. This can reflect the value of cultural capital, telling stories through ideas and narratives from “Wat Arun” and the area of “Wang Derm - Bangkok Yai,” and designing and creating moving pictures of art.
