The south Sukhumvit area has numerous vacant, underutilized plots. Vaslab recognizes the potential of these spaces. Through thoughtful design and the introduction of beneficial uses for the surrounding community, these vacant lots can be transformed into valuable assets. This initiative aims to inspire individuals and organizations to appreciate the power of design to improve urban spaces. Vaslab and Partners invite designers to participate in a public space design competition. The goal is to enhance the quality of life for local residents and contribute to the development of a thriving economic and creative district. Workshop Application Details and Requirements Vaslab ArchitectureOPEN-CALL: Uprise the Space at South Sukhumvit. We invite architects and designers aged 20-30 to join Vasu Virajsilp, the founder of Vaslab Architecture, and be part of a team designing and developing a public interest project with the potential for real-world implementation under the concept “Uprise the Space at South Sukhumvit.” How to Apply: • Submit a brief introduction and your portfolio in any format to vaslab.architecture@gmail.com. • Applications are open from now until December 15, 2027. • Selected applicants will be announced on December 16, 2027, on our Facebook page: Vaslab Architecture. • For more information, please contact 02-741-8099 or vaslab.architecture@gmail.com.
