“CRDIS Model” by the School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University is a joint project to develop special products based in the Bio-Circular-Green economy model concept for enhancement of creative works towards greater value. The project focused on combining textiles with recycled materials and aimed to show the identity of the local communities while applying technology and innovations that accommodate modern lifestyles. The collaboration was between students of the Department of Interior Architecture and Department of Product Design, the School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University and Modernform Group Public Company Limited, Earthology Studio, which supported recycled plastic fibers, and Traditional Bamboo Handicrafts Phanat Nikhom District Chonburi (TBHC), which provided raw bamboo. An additional objective of the project was to foster an academic network and knowledge exchanges among communities and organizations, strengthening the creative design world while diversifying it with the input of a new generation that will lead to sustainable creative design.
