(อิXยัง?ะ) ‘Whxt?’ (อิXยัง?ะ or “e-yung-wa”) is a Randomly Composed Architectural Installation in a Mystery Box meant to explore new meanings and possibilities in art and architecture within the original context and environment of Charoen Krung. In every step a major city grows, In every centimeter of open air occupied by new architecture, In every dream of reaching a destination, In every imagination of these architects, urban planners and designers sketched and scribbled on paper or screen, Some things do not go as expected or intended, Some overlooked things have left a mark, Some unexpected things have appeared, And more than that, some things have been left behind. Some things have left behind debris, problems, questions, mistrust, and safety hazards. ‘Whxt?’ is the result of design, planning and coordination with duty, awareness, responsibility and ethical conduct to create something that appears entirely random. Visitors will find that the installation is little different from a mystery box. ‘Whxt?’ STUX2 presents ‘Whxt?’, a multidimensional poem of the city composed by esteemed authors, architects, urban planners and designers reflecting the saddest joy and the most daring comedy in a way that is improbable and useless, yet beautiful, bringing confusion, doubt, indifference, and astonishment to visitors. This Randomly Composed Architectural Installation in a Mystery Box is a design experiment that combines architectural elements with other elements such as the atmosphere, context and the visitors themselves, reinterpreting shapes, forms, spaces, light, color, symbols, phenomena, systems, practices, perceptions and memories onto the original architectural context and environment of Charoen Krung. Regardless of where the installation is placed, its random nature creates a unique experience with a variety of possibilities that cannot be recreated through meticulous design regardless of duty, awareness, responsibility, and ethical conduct.
