Holy Places in Thailand
Observing surroundings and public spaces in Thailand, whether parks, intersections or roadsides, holy objects can be commonly found. In general, the existence of the sacred in these spaces provides a gathering place for people of the same faith. They allow for prayers and wishes, whether to meet expectations or to win the lottery, and lead to meetings, exchanges and a range of other activities.
This experiment injected public spaces into holy locations, whether by adding them or adjusting them to suit all ages and safely accommodate all people, so they could serve everyone.
The question posed by these installations was what directions an empty public space could be taken in for the greatest good and friendliness to all.
